Anni started dancing with her late husband in Delta in 1968 with the Tenderfoot Square Dance Club and danced until her husband had health problems in 1973. After his passing she took up Square Dancing again in 1988 in Delta with the Dixie Wheelers which was Ken Melech's new club. There was also a Singles Club dancing at Kennedy Hall which she attended.

ln 1988 Kris started dancing in Bumaby with the Singles Club and the Lochdale Club. They met through Square Dancing. The rest is history and they are still dancing to this day.

They both became part of the Dixie Wheelers in Delta and when that club folded they danced in Richmond learning the Plus Level with Jim McPherson. They also danced with the Surrey Square Wheelers.

He, being a handy man, got involved with the flooring for convention 2000 at the Convention Centre. When BC Ball moved to surrey he was again involved with the flooring and also for the Caneer Dance.

For the 2005 Abbotsford Festival both were on the services committee and became involved with the flooring.

In 2006 they became Social Convenors for the FVS&RDA.

The Scroll of Honour Committee was in need of a new Display Folding Board so again he used his skills and created the perfect masterpiece.

They both have been members of the F.V. Promotion Committee at some time.

When they took up residence in Abbotsford they started dancing with the Abbotsford Swinging Hubs learning the A level. They became the club's representatives to the FVS&RDA. For the past 2 1/2 years they have been Directors of the FVS&RD and have been excellent club visitors.

They were also members of the Chuckwagon 8's Road Runners and are currently Flashback Editors for the Valley Circle.
